Seminars and education
“Give a hungry man a fish and it will fill him up today; teach him how to fish and he will never go hungry again!” (Chinese proverb)
Over the years as I have reviewed and evaluated many manuals for European companies which are selling their products in the United States, I have come to realize that only very few technical writers even know the basics. They often don’t know what is really required to write a good manual for the US market and they have hardly any idea how to compose and design good and effective safety messages in conformity with ANSI Z535.6.
For this reason I have developed a 2-day-seminar which I have been holding numerous times a year in Germany since 2007.
- Life in the era of ANSI Z535.6 – How to design good manuals from the ground up.
- The participants come from companies of all sizes and all industries.
- Comments by the participants.
- In-house seminars
I have also lectured on this subject in the US like at the annual product safety seminar of the AEM - Association of Equipment Manufacturers.
